A mixture of berries paired with yogurt, milk and oats; naturally sweetened with dates and banana with a spoon of flax seed to add some omega-3s to this super nutritious recipe. INGREDIENTS
Smoothie
1 banana
1/2 cup oats (use gluten free oats for gluten free smoothie)
1 tbsp flax seed (optional)
1 cup milk of choice (use plant milk for vegan smoothie)
3/4 cup greek style yogurt (use plant-based for vegan smoothie)
1 cup frozen berries
Optional toppings
granola (I recommend this home-made granola by Pick Up Limes)
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into bowls, top with granola, freeze dried raspberries, desiccated coconut, or any other desired toppings. Alternatively, pour into a tall bottle and take with you on-the-go!
RECIPE NOTES
* Smoothie can be made-ahead and stored in the fridge.
* Best served cold or at room temperature.
